12 Week Course

The 12 week course is for individuals who require a bit more support to help improve their employability. This course is split into two elements with the first attending essential employability training where they will look at skills required in the different employment areas, developing a CV and cover letters, understanding job search techniques and interview skills.

The second part is about gaining valuable work experience in the employment area you want to go into. This will help you decide whether your chosen career is right for you. The work experience will also help you to develop your existing skills while learning new skills. This will also help to add to your CV as employers are looking if you are keeping your skills current or learning new skills & gaining new experiences.

The 12 week course can be adapted to meet YOUR needs for example, more work experience if it beneficial to you or undertaking a Functional Skills Qualification in English, Maths or ICT.
