Makeover & Talk Helps Learners Understand Customer Service

We at MACTAC Training understand that sometimes our learners can learn more discussing with employers and individuals who work for themselves to help them grow and understand better the knowledge and skills they are learning. To help our learners on the Working Futures and our other programmes, we invited Lorna Oliver to come in last week to speak to them about the importance of giving the appropriate level of customer service. Lorna, who is a hairdresser, rents a chair at Mark Phillip Hairdressing in Rose Lane, Liverpool and while speaking to the learners gave one our tutors Zoe a hair makeover to showcase how she works with her customers.

During the haircut and style, Lorna helped explained how important it is to engage with her customers to keep them not only happy but also want them to come back to her to have their hair done again. She fielded questions from the group about a range of topics, which she happily answered, even sharing her experiences to help answer some of the questions. She even discussed about working and being a parent too which got the group thinking about the future too, if they decide to have families. After the chat, Tutor Zoe then got a little make-up done by one of our team members who was a former health & beauty tutor. All the pictures of the transformation can be seen above.

MACTAC Training would like to thank Lorna who works four days a week renting a chair at Mark Phillip Hairdressing on Rose Lane for taking time out to chat to our learners while also giving Tutor Zoe a nice new hair style.
