A traineeship is an education and training programme with work experience that unlocks the great potential of young people and prepares them for their future careers by helping them to become ‘work ready’.
Designed to help young people aged 16 to 23 who don’t yet have the appropriate skills or experience, traineeships provide the essential work preparation training, English, Maths and work experience needed to secure an apprenticeship or employment. Individuals will have opportunitiy to work towards qualifications.
The flexibility of traineeships offers employers the opportunity to help build a pool of high quality future recruits for all sector.

MACTAC Training is able to offer FREE or CO-FUNDED adult education training for individuals aged 19+ in Liverpool. Maybe you want to change or progress your career, boost your employability, improve your basic skills or simply learn something new and meet new people, then we has a range of qualifications & courses to get you started! Below is the courses we can offer and eligibility requirements for FREE or Co-FUNDED.

PLEASE NOTE:
For individuals to be eligible for this, they must be aged 19+ and for the FREE training must be unemployed and in receipt of benefits.
Any employed individual who has not got their Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths are entitled to receive this training for free. However, if employed and wish to do their first full Level 2 qualification, they will have to co-fund the cost of the course. For co-funded qualifications, prices vary depending on the Level 2 qualification they wish to achieve.

Level 2 is the level of attainment which is demonstrated by:
GCSE in 5 subjects each at grade C or above or grade 4 or above or a Level 2 qualification
