The Level 2 will suit individuals who wish to work in the childcare sector such as in nurseries/creche, pre-school assistant, childminder etc. The Level 3 has two pathways. The Social Care Pathway is for anyone who is interested in or working with young people in looked after environments e.g. residential care etc. The other pathway is the Learning & Development Support Pathway which is for anyone who wishes to become a Learning Mentor.
